Sad news arrived recently that Free Radical have closed up shop, leaving employees without jobs and the much anticipated Timesplitters 4 without a home.

Steve Ellis, founder of Free Radical Design has been busily creating a new studio Pumpkin Beach which was a sort of "in house" developer, used to distance itself from the Haze and Timesplitter IPs.

Since then though, Free Radical have closed, so there are now rumours circulating that Pumpkin Beach could in fact pickup the highly anticipated Timesplitters 4.

Reports are that 20 staff positions have been offered to people from the former Free Radical Design, so hopefully we will see some quality titles coming out
