MyWii.com.au - Carindale Wii Connection Tour - 2007
Today at the Nintendo Wii Connection Tour in the massive shopping centre of Carindale, 3 Admins and many more members joined together to play some Wii! With some members coming as early as just teenagers, to ones that have left high school, it was a day we shall all never forget.
From Joe and Nintenboom singing Kareoke (will be featured in a couple of days) To Cham BEATING Joe at some Brain game and being kind enough to give the prize to Joe. But we weren't just there to socialise, at least not completely! I will say i had so much fun with these guys, i almost forgot to play some Wii!
We got to play things from Zelda Phantom Hourglass on DS, to Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, and finished it off with a nice taste of Metroid! (We have taken footage of these, it is being processed and will be presented in a day or 2).
The following games we played and showing footage of on this site:
- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
- Mario and Sonic: Olympics (maybe, some manager said we aren't allowed to show it or some stuff, but oh well, we can blame it on nbo)
- Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
- Boogie
- Brain game on the Wii
- And many, many more!

I would like to thank everyone that came, you made the 3 hour drive worth it. And it was great to meet you all! I want more of you next year!
Pyro: Today was absolutely fantastic, the people from Mywii.com.au are nothing like they are on the website, as there completely CRAZY. Meeting them and spending 2 hours with them, (as if that wasn't enough), was probably an experience i wont be forgetting soon. The Connection tour itself was kind'of lacking, as the competition was dull, and there was no REAL nintendo enthusiasm, however it was still a great day.
Cham: Today was like no other, having met people i have become so close to over the internet (as sad as that sounds) but yeh. The highlight would have to be meeting Pyro and Joe, after working with them for months, and months, sometimes ahours and hours a day, there was nothing more interesting then seeing them in person. It was a great day, i got to play Corruption (woot) and also got to watch joe play boogie and sing into a mic. My friends tagged along as well, they are in one of the videos, the one making a random face at the camera, and the one giving the finger to the camera. Besides that. It was worth it.
