Social \ Safari web browser for PC, what do you think?

Some of you may know, some might not but Safari version 3 (Public BETA) has been released for PC.

Apple says that its better than all the browsers out there, but when I downloaded it and tested it out I noticed that it loads text reaally fast but when it comes to images it is slow.

So I wanted to find out, if anyone has downloaded Safari version 3 (Public BETA), do you think its better or do you prefer your old browser?

I think safari is a typical apple product, its simple and efficient. I would use it on my mac, but my atypical web browsing techniques need attending to. So when it comes to web browsing apples usual lovely simplification doesn't do it for me.

Safari on PC is good, but it's still BETA, has a lot of issues, and I doubt it is going to capture much market share when it comes to IE and Firefox

At the moment I use it at work, but for home browsing i'm all about firefox, even used firefox on my mac

But text in Safari looks oh so nice

EDIT: I just downloaded it, i'm using it now for mywii. It's ok I guess. It's funny how they kept the fonts...

Apple says lots of things. Apple says things to make you pay $400 for an iPod when a $70 MP3 player does exactly the same thing (or more), for example.

I used Safari way back in high school, and to me the interface and its user features were more for form than function. I'm in the Firefox camp.

Firefox.

Financial magazines and other publications across the world in fact urge their readers to dump Internet Explorer for Firefox because it's so unsafe.

Not only is Explorer open to malware, but it renders X/HTML code out of spec, and loads pages very slowly. Like four or more seconds slower than Firefox, I find.

Its way better you know right now i am getting loads of pop ups and do you know where they are coming from not the firefox which I have always used but Internet Explorer which I dont ever remember even opening on that topic how do i get rid of IE so the pop ups will stop!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to turn this isn't a bowser war...but in IE its your fult if something goes wrong. Because I never get pages slow, I never get malware and every time I had firefox it was the slow one.

IE allows for 100% blocking of pop-ups. I've had no problems using IE, quite happy, I also use Firefox here and there. Safari isn't too bad, I just couldn't believe they kept the same font interface as the OS X Safari...
