Major League Eating REVIEW BY JOFRA01 Based on competitive eating contests held by Major League Eating, the game features eleven competitive eating professionals to compete against including Takeru Kobayashi, Joey Chestnut, Tim Janus, Patrick Bertoletti, Crazy Legs Conti, Sonya Thomas and Juliet Lee, as well as a Kodiak Bear. Story: The game follows along side the show which doesn't actually have a story but just people eating. Gameplay: When I first started playing the game and going through the tutorial on how to play I thought to myself that this good actually be fun to play. However the game's controls are clunky that the WiiMote and Game don't work to well together when placing food in your mouth no matter how hard you try sometimes it just won't respond to what your doing. Everything like eating food, farting and burping at people is actually alot funner than I thought. If Sensory Sweep Studios had spent more time on controls this game would have been more enjoyable. Due to the fact that the WiiMote ain't always responsive it usually makes you lose as the CPU Competitor is some kind of eating machine constantly eating and you have to keep up with crap motion controls. Graphics: It does look like Sensory Sweep Studios actually put effort in to the graphics which do make the game visually enjoyable. The framerate is constant and doesn't seem to contain any graphical errors. Sound: Crowds Cheering, Clock Counting Down, Vomiting, Burping, Munching On Food, Biting Your Tongue, Farting, Choking and Commentator are only some of the things you hear in this game. A wider variety of sound is put in place for the game. Replay Value: Once you beat the game there is no reason to come back unless you want to unlock characters. If control was more responsive you have a higher chance of replaying the game. Conclusion: Sensory Sweep Studios put effort into this game destroyed by the fact that the WiiMote ain't very responsive. It is a good game if you can get past that and food lovers might actually enjoy this surprising mediocre title. Story: 6/10 Based on a TV Show and stays loyal using same people on game and show. Gameplay: 5/10 Unresponsive controls ruin gameplay and make it a lot more harder. Graphics: 7/10 Graphics actually stand out and are not an eye sore like some WiiWare games are these days. Sound: 7/10 Wide range of sound found in this game which is good to hear. Replay Value: 2/10 Only if you are desperate to do something would you play this game. OVERALL: 5/10
