Wii Hardware \ Female Gamers?

I keep reading articles about polls taken showing that "there has been a huge increase in females playing games and joining the gaming industry". I personally have a female friend who makes games and has more bloody games than me. Anyhow...just wanted to test this out. Just say wether you're MALE or FEMALE and...um...HOW LONG you've been Gaming and just to see if there's any difference in the games we like - Your favourite all-time game(s) [3 max] - So i guess i'll start it

This is hard as my favorites change according to my mood. But this is close. Actually should be more years of gaming if you count the old arcade games my parents had in the shop. (Frogger, Scramble, Space Invaders, Lunar Lander etc.) So pretty much all my life gaming.
