The game is compatible with the Wii Remote controller as well as both the Wii Zapper and the DK Bongos used for the Donkey Konga series on the Wii's predecessor, the Gamecube.

The developers claim that playing with the Wii Zapper brings many advantages over the other available controller configurations. The game is to be a mix between a puzzle and shooter game. The game will include a singleplayer mode as well as an offline multiplayer mode where up to 12 players can take part.
