Was it always like this? I never realised until last week when Kaion or someone said something about the people at A-N saying that WiFi is crappy on Tuesdays. It it was, it kept DCing and stuff. Was it like this for a long time and I haven't even noticed 'til then?

It does seem to be weird on Tuesdays but I think it's more so the time that people get on and not the entire day. Probably just in the evening cause in the morning I can join rooms fine but of an evening it just keeps saying that theres no response from the other player.

This topic is totally justified.

I only really noticed too Kiri when they said it at AN, but since reading it I've realised it's totally messed up every Tuesday without fail. I imagine that an update or something gets sent out to every Wii each Tuesday. It's during office hours in Japan so it could be anything they're sending out into the world I imagine.

Really I have no idea though, in fact I'm probably so far off the mark it's not funny.

You guys only just figured this out? It has been known in the AN community for almost a year that tuesdays (late afternoon) are a no-go timeslot for good wifi battles. EVERY tuesday something always goes wrong, the most likely conclusion is either high traffic or the nintendo servers refreshing themselves. The 'nobody online' glitch is most prominent during tuesday.
