I know this is the anti-Brawl but I'm being drawn to this title as one of my mates has it. He says it's one of the most balanced fighters made and I really loved Street Fighter 2 before I knew about Brawl.

Has anyone played it? I'd like to hear anyone's impressions. And if anyone can guess my main I'll give you a cookie if you ask me it's pretty obvious.

dont think i have ever played street fighter, so i have no clue of what characters are in the game

but anyway is ryu your main? hes like the only one i can think of

I've had a few looks at it at JB Hi-Fi... Looks pretty good, but I can't see how the Wii couldn't handle it... The graphics don't appear to be that demanding!

As a Street Fighter fan from the early day I have to say this game is brilliant. If you have played any Street Fighter game before you can get straight into this one with ease. Shame it's not on the Wii so if you have a PS3, 360 or PC(coming soon I think) then get a copy.

Street Fighter is awesome, so is Chun Li. I played Street Fighter 4 in JB the other day, was epic.
Too bad I don't know any of the special moves!

Just press start for the moves list.
Also this game is much more playable with a arcade style joystick or six button controller at least, this is where SSBB has it's plus point it's designed for a controller.

Yeah they have really juiced Zangeif up, one super move and most of your energy bar is gone.
I hate using the PS3 controller to play SF4 though, I have to get a better controller or joystick.

Really? I find the PS3 controller to be the best current-gen controller fighting games.

Really? I find the PS3 controller to be the best current-gen controller fighting games.


I can work with the button locations but it's the "broken" D-pad that I hate. After doing a couple of super moves my thumb feels as if it's going to drop off.
