THE CONTROL: Basically you’ve got you basic four way control pad, you can move left, right and you can crouch down. You would think that up is jump but it’s not, the A button is jump and B can make you go fast. And of course where is a good video game without a pause button, which happens to be START. When you’re playing with this game on the wii the controls will be different to the original game so check the manual for the controls before playing. Same controls as the first Super Mario Bros game so if you want to get used to this game you should train on Super Mario Bros because this game is no place to be learning. THE MUSIC: The music is the same as the first game blockey type Mario music only it’s not as fast as the first game. The music is slow and gets annoying because it’s slow and you hear it so many times in the game. The music sounds blockier and worse that the first Super Mario Bros game and it’s a bit shakier. THE GAMEPLAY: The Gameplay, well it’s the same mushroom coin fire flower goomba koopa hit the blocks Super Mario Bros Gameplay we all know and love only IT’S SO GOD DAMN HARD! The levels are so tricky with obstacles, make one false move and your dead! When you die the music is slow and you die so much that the music starts to really get on your nerves. This game even has things that try to stop you like a poison mushroom (how can we tell it’s poison? YOU CAN’T!) And a blooper out of water flying in the air. I haven’t gone past the first level of world two but I know that a whole lot of crazy hardcore stuff will follow. Also one thing I hate, this game has no 2 player, only Mario game or Luigi game which kinda sucks. This game really requires patients. THE STORY: Let’s see the story, what is the story? There is no different story! They didn’t make a different story! It’s the same story, some how the princess has gotten captured by Bowser again and Mario has to save her again because, because, because he has to for some unknown reason! THE GRAPHICS: Same Super Mario Bros NES 8 bit graphics only this time the graphics aren’t as good. The graphics are a bit darker hard and not as smooth or as sort as the old Super Mario Bros graphics. There is a lighter side; the graphics are more detailed which makes it look a bit more hard but very effective. TOTAL SCORE: 43 /50 Controls: 10/10 same controls keep it easy Music: 7/10 the music sounds more blockier and worse that the first Super Mario Bros game Gameplay: 10/10 this game is a freak’en challenge and patients is a must Story: 6 /10 ok don’t get me wrong I love the concept of Super Mario Bros but it’s the same story as the first game so that’s a bit slack Graphics: 10/10 nothing really wrong with the graphics but they do look a but darker
