Call of Review - 7/10

Call of Duty has always been a boring FPS shooting game for me, always been about either world war one or two, until the realese of Call of duty: Modern Warfare which my interest for the game amazed me, due to the fact the same engine was introduced for World at War and because ive waited for a good online killing game for the wii.

gameplay

Lets cut the crap and get on with it. Gameplay has its differences with COD:waw, the campain is very boring i managed to play an hour of it with immediately wondering is this what i payed for... the AI seem to be pretty smart but they cant shoot for crap and i couldn't tell if i'd have killed them or not, and i found always being stuck with a boring gun and team mates that seem to waited for you to do everything which is standard i guess, for a FPS.



So after being majorly bored with campain i moved onto playing online, finally! this is what i payed for! online makes the game a hundred more times fun! there is wepon upgrades, perks that improve your offensive and defensive tatics, artillary that can destroy your enemy's! and a pack dogs to rip them apart! although reloading can be annoying at times...



overall the experience you pay for is Online it truely tests your skills around the world, theres even a leaderboard to show you where your at amongest your friends and the world!

Controls

perfect. theres nothing better than actually holding a gun using the wii remote it will take sometime getting used to but it actually resembles you in the war fumbling your gun around trying to shoot one another, soo much better than using a controller which is redicously hard to snipe.


Sound

well honestly there is no sound besides killing and swearing courtesy of the americans, but its good to hear somz germanz! and russians too. although the japanese seem to be speaking a mix of english and japanese which im not sure wether they've made up thier minds..

Graphics

ehhh.. there not the best, compared to other call of dutys on wii, some maps you play on seem to be too dark and theres quite a few glitches where yu can go through walls and even outside the map.

Overall

Its a great game and if your looking for an online shooting game for the wii i definetly recomend it. although its missing quite a few extras and maps... and game modes, its controls shine above some of these take outs.

- lagg can be annoying, starting off is hard, campain is crap.
