Sega has released a new teaser site, and to be completely honest with you we have no idea what it's about. You can check out the "Project RINGO" teaser site for yourself and make of it what you will.
The site shows off a silhouette 2D character animation tossing an apple ('ringo' is Japaneses for apple). At the end of the animation we are presented with the text "What happens? ... next_2.24". Presumably that promises more information on the 24th of February. Beyond that the only other thing on the site was an embedded code which can be seen below.
To recap we have the name "project RINGO", something to do with apples, the 24th of February looking promising for more info and the above embedded script code. Now jump to wild conclusions about what this actually means.

And things pop out of them like mushrooms. And there is a castle which looks exactly like the mario castle. Convince me with some of the stuff you have seen that would make it original. Other than the gun concept. I liked that.
