Animal Crazy - 6/10
It has come to my attention that everbody loves to rate games so very high on this site, almost that if they are in love with the game soo much they'd ditch their real lives and rent out a hotel just for thier first love. Where is the critcal side of the game? honestly it can be that great can it? there must be a side where a different story is told; Which brings our attention to Animal Crossing: Lets go to the city.
first of all, the title. Now what difference does it make if Australia have to have a different title to any other country? nothing besides the fact people getting confused wether this really is animal crossing or that someone left there bus pass on the shelve, I immedetly became confussed on why the have changed the game title.
Animal Crossing getting the patched disk
I liked previous animal crossings, eg. Wild World for the nintendo DS. and i thought great! its coming to the wii and i can transfer my character onto the wii! so, my brother got the game for christmas (he to is an AC freak) and i said to him "dont forget to call up nintendo to get the patched disk so we can transfer characters!" and so we did. Week later we get the patched version and first thing i did was proved rover wrong by transfering my character, i was like pumped to see how much more benefits i get not being a noob character in AC, anyways it turns out you get nothing besides a pat on the back and your treated like you havn't played the game before, i was like this is bull! i worked so hard on wild world and i got nothing from my efforts, besides a cool haircut! so already im starting to hate the game.
Gameplay
Its not much different to any other AC, just with a few suprise tricks. its like going to a circus you've already seen and then the clown falls off his tight rope onto his butt, and you say "Was that appart of the act?". The town you start in is soo much bigger than Wild World you actually do need to look at your map, and AI's characters react and say different things alot more which was good.
Clothes and Furniture have been re-enhanced be to less box like and spherical like, And there is some cool furniture in the city that cost and arm and a leg in gracie grace. Now that Redd has is on store makes things a little bit more better, for those furniture buyers.
Fishing seems that india have fished out the sea and your left with the scraps; in comparison to Wild World where fish weren't near extinct. there seems to be more bugs during winter which suprised me when i just realised i didnt have a net to catch them.
The museum and roost were better than before, K.K. letting you have an encore song aslo allowing you to have a friend over whilst he dances around on the dramatic song scenes made things fun. The museum catagories were cooler and more appealing, for example; the bug section looked like something off Call of Duty: World at War.
Last the city. Now the city is something i hate to love, when you get there its like a big hype "omg the city! my eyes! but it turns out you can really do much unless you just want to spend bells, but that early into the game the last thing i want to loose is bells, theres some new characters like Label in Gracie Grace, Kicks the shoe shiner (which is most awesome) and Phinses the pedofile that hands out ballons for free.
Music
music still the same which i gave it that japanese touch, which works with the game. although the town tune song making is far more different and retarded to make short tunes with, its like they changed key or something.

none really, although that when you carry and fishing rod it goes through your head.
In conculsion
i've found one way to some up this game with a previous qoute form Wild World town centre. As Pelly said to me:
“Hmm… Well, it’s not passing, but it’s not failing either. Like more than milk, but not quite a milk shake, know what I mean?!” Hmm… Sounds like there’s nothing this resident likes or dislikes in particular. You know, I think if we added some green, it would really help…
