Yes, you heard right. PS3 and Wii owners are now able to watch YouTube on their televisions. YouTube for Television, which is currently in beta mode, was announced on Thursday 15th of January in a blog post by the YouTube team. The web site offers a remote-control-friendly user interface for the popular video site. But if you're reading this on a computer at home, don't bother visiting the site as yet, as it will simply take you to the YouTube home page, the only difference being that you must access it with a PS3 or Wii to get into it. The new interface was designed to provide "a dynamic, lean-back, 10-foot television viewing experience...With enlarged text and simplified navigation [that] makes watching YouTube on your TV as easy and intuitive as possible", according to the blog post.

As I said before, I'm guessing that since it's still in beta mode, they're going to be tweaking it and taking it down every once and a while. Oh, ok then thanks. And Death Note is awesome. ^_^

Wrong. They only released the beta version last Thursday. Read the news before you write a comment. I didn't mean the beta version. I mean the youtube for wii. they've had it up for ages. Are you talking about the Internet Channel? Yes, you can get on Youtube on the Wii (and PS3...I think), but Youtube for Television is an 'interface' for the Wii and PS3, meaning it's easier to navigate than the normal Youtube website.
