Nintendo Australia has announced the release dates for the upcoming New Play Control! Pikmin. The first title in the series of GameCube games to be updated with Wii Controls will be released on February 26 2009.
Players control a spaceman named Captain Olimar who has crash-landed on an unusual planet. The goal of the game is to help Olimar collect his vessel's lost parts, which have been scattered all over the planet. Luckily for Captain Olimar, the planet is inhabited by strange little creatures, called Pikmin. Pikmin are plant-like life forms that come in three different colours red, yellow and blue. Each type of Pikmin has unique strengths, which Olimar must use to his advantage.
Nintendo Australia also announced the release date for Trauma Center: New Blood which will arrive on Aussie shores on January 22 2009. To conclude they revealed the release dates for the Nintendo DS titles 100 Classic Book Collection along with Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon which will be released on January 22 and February 26 respectively.
