Wii Hardware \ Joytech charger: DO NOT BUY!

Any third paty device (even original) will have problems. I have a powerwave charging station that I have had problems with (battery points werent touching good enough). But with a little tinkering all good now.

But thanks for the heads up. Hopefully its not a problem with all of them.

i took 2 power stations back and now onto my second usb chargers and now they are playing its the batteries they dont seem too charge up properly i'm a bit peeved too havent had any replys from the componies either

I guess its something we have to expect from third party devices. Hopefully one da Nintendo will do what they should have done from the start and release one themselves.

Tried that, still no good. I'm going to see if i can buy a cable that i can plug straight into a wall socket.

So, after you turn your Wii off at the wall, replug the station back into the back of your Wii, then turn the power back on. What happens then? Does the Wii still not turn on at all?

Dont non rechargeable batteries explode if you try to charge them up.... Not a good idea musicmatt!

i have the energizer one it charges 4 batteries they last pretty long but not as long as when the docking stations batteries last

No, if what you are asking is can you charge regular alkaline batteries. And be careful using rechargable batteries in your Wiimotes, older ones can leak which will kill your precious controllers. I would still recommend a Joytech power station, it's been brilliant for me, and there's always the warranty if something goes wrong.
