I have been ripped off 3 times so far (out of 100+).
Worse one was an 80GB Ipod, which I paid $440 thru bank deposit.After placing claim I was eventually awarded total paid minus ebay's claim fee of $25.
Shortly after I was contacted by Victorian police wanting me to fill out a statement as they had arrested and charged the culprit!

I would suggest reporting him to the Police straight away. You have his account details and such. It is called fraud, and it;s the best chance to get your money back and also stop him starting a new ebay account and ripping others off. Some people need to learn a lesson the hard way.

It was $6, he scammed me them my brother sent PayPal a message on my behalf saying what happened and then he sent the guy that scammed me a message saying he will have to pay a fine if he didn't send it to me. What do you know i waited 2 days and it came in the mail.

The moral of this story is

-Pay via PayPal.

-Always check the feedback.

-Look in the feedback, see if he/she has got good feedback for buying OR selling. Check what some of the items are. I think myself that people just buy 1000 items that cost $0.01 ea. The get 1000 positive feedback then they scam people.

-Do NOT buy the item if it's too good to be true, it is probably a scam.

-If you are not sure about an item just send me the link and I'll check it to make sure you wont be scammed.

**** yer just found out i bought rayman from him 2 but dont get to worked up about it yet ay, i have been using ebay for a while and just last week had another guy bail out on selling rayman but got him to post a money order back to me, so if he says he will deposit it to ya bank say no and make him send u a money order however if everyone makes a complaint he will get nailed by ebay... but b4 today his record was alright so this could be an unlucky circumstance for not just us, but him aswell so just wait and see (please post here is he has replyed to any emails you sent him about the issue) cheers
