First Appearance: Detective Comics #583
Insane Twist: The Ventriloquist is "controlled" by Scarface, the ganster puppet on the end of his hand.
Dubious Moment: Found prone on the deck of a boat, the Ventriloquist appears dead, but the damn dummy lives -- that is until he's destroyed hopefully ending the existence of this Dud Duo.

There's perhaps no more annoying Batman villain to read in comics. The Ventriloquist, a chump with no backbone, can't use the letter "D" when throwing his voice, which means the obnoxious Scarface says things like, "You gummy!" Writers have attempted to add some mystery by suggesting the doll is truly alive. Thank goodness this act is dead.

Harley Quinn

Insane Twist: She was the Joker's psychologist, but Joker managed to turn her into an insane groupie devoted to the Clown Prince of Crime.
Crowning Moment: Rejected by Joker, Harley arrived on Poison Ivy's doorstep intent on getting revenge -- what she gets is a major physical upgrade.
Harley could be even higher on this list were it not for her dependence on a certain Clown Prince of Crime. Always beholden to Joker, Harley's true power can never really be released on Gotham (maybe that's a good thing). She's deadly -- perhaps even deadlier than the Joker -- and completely bonkers. Unlike the other villains in Batman's Rogues Gallery, Harley is actually kind of just a little bit loveable. Sorta.

Wow, I think she would be awesome! Because in The Dark Knight, they didnt show the Joker being killed right? They could have it so like he escaped and have her to help him or something. But it wouldnt be a good joker without Heath Ledger. Wow, the others I havent even heard of lol.

1 of the guys I posted was actually in Batman Begins which I didn't even realise lol, he's the one with the weird name.

Also Harley Quinn has been in Cartoon Movies with the Joker and she is pretty crazy also

Maybe have both the Riddler and Harley in it.

They could start the 3rd movie off with the Joker in therapy with Harley sane, but we don't see the joker only his shadow through the Window on the door, the Joker says something that makes Harley snap and she kills him and then later we see her transform as she is crazier then the Joker and she can be a side villain while some one like the riddler or Black Mask are the main villain

I Can't Find His Number

Wouldn't mind seeing Bane in it also just doing a rampage but only as a cameo, like having him busting out of prison randomly after taking some steroids, that someone like the Riddler gave him, then have Bane going on a rampage destroying things to be stopped by Batman who then sees a note attached to Bane somewhere with a Riddle on what the Riddler will do next.

I hope Nolan doesn't try to make another movie with the Joker. It simply wouldn't be right considering Ledger's purely brilliant performance. Unless they find someone who can out-do Ledger's character (which I highly doubt they will) I will always vote "NO" for another Batman flick starring The Joker as one of the villains. As far as I'm concerned, this rendition of The Joker was the one to end all future immitations.

It would be nice to include Harlee Quinn in a movie alongside The Joker but that's something I can live without. I'd just hate to see Ledger's final (and superb) performance butchered by a B-grade performance just so it could continue the story or to include Harley Quinn.

Nah I did, I just, the movie kept a great sense of realism, it wasn't a letdown, just a constrast.

Two-Face was clearly overshadowed by the Joker, regardless of Ledger's death or not. The Joker was simply the be all, end all of Batman villains.

Yes, that scene had to be one of my favourite Joker scenes from the film. Simply brilliant.

The ending was perfect for a batman flick. Remember, batman isn't a super hero. He's an anti-hero, if anything. Gotham City isn't a city like Metropolis or Spiderman's New York. Gotham makes those two cities look like playgrounds for 3 year olds. Gotham's people need someone to blame for the atrocities that happen almost daily. If they had found out that their only legitimate and legal hope for cleaning up Gotham city had turned into a corrupt killer...as they said, everything that was done to help Gotham would become undone. There simply wouldn't be any hope.

This is why Gotham needs Batman. Not so much to save them, but to blame someone for anything that happens. A lot of what happened in the movie did happen indirectly because of Batman (which is what I loved about The Joker's scheme). If he had simply removed his mask and handed himself over, countless innocent lives could have been saved.

It's a bittersweet ending but it couldn't have happened any other way.

agree 200%! best line in the movie! i liked the movie, but in many ways batman isn't really a "SUPERheo" afterall he's just a hack in a rubber suit with alot of $$$.

I went last night, Heaps of people there.

I can understand how people get freaked out by the movie, some scenes are disturbing.

The car chases were great!
