Punch-Out is a simple yet challenging title originally developed for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in 1984 and has become one of the most well-known boxing franchises on the early consoles. The object of the game is too ascend through the ranks in the boxing world fighting different opponents and although there are only 6 in all the game keeps repeating gradually getting harder. Although this game was made for the NES it is well-known for being deceptively hard as the player must beat the opponent in only one short round and with each one beaten it only gets harder. Punch out has been re-released on the Wii’s virtual console and is waiting for only VC 500 points if any boxing/nintendo classics enthusiast is up to the challenge!
