Wii Sports Resort to Feature Wi-Fi & Wii Connect24

Nintendo of Europe have confirmed that Wii Sports Resort will feature Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (online) and Wii Connect24. The new details were revealed through an update on the European Nintendo Channel.

Come to think of it this doesn't mean that much in terms online play. As Wii Connect24 has been confirmed along side it Wi-Fi may just be confirming that it is online for something small such as leader boards. It's also entirely possible that you'll be able to challenge friends online, we'll just have to wait and see.

Wii Sports Resort will be released in Australia on July 23 bundled with Wii MotionPlus.

I think it will have online leaderboards of records of training and competeing againist computers people have done, I hope there is online multiplayer as long as they don't lag terribly

4 Player online would be great. I'm still a bit confused as to why they are recycling the bowling and golf here. It is going to make the old Wii Sports seem unresponsive.

I have a feeling it may work into functionality like online leaderboards but if Nintendo were to incorporate online multi-player it would truly turn this game into a killer application.

I am actually intrigued about this title now. Can't wait to hear some more confirmed facts on this matter.

I think that could be something you could refer to as being online records, I don't have it so I don't actually know what the online of that is
