The hot prediction of Animal Crossing Wii is no longer just a prediction. While the familiar town will be back in, you'll also have a new city section to explore mainly revolving around shopping and communication. While it's going to be coming with full WiiConnect24 support the biggest announcement is WiiSpeak, full voice chat in the game. WiiSpeak will be pushed more as a room microphone rather then a single person headset, aimed and getting large groups of players communicating.
Update: After going through the lovely fact sheets Nintendo has sent us, a few more key details and additions have come to light.
-Mii's will play a part with character make overs, no more boardline bobble heads!
-Days and seasons will all be passing in real time, and there will be a greater focus on various holidays.
-You will be able to transplant existing animal characters from town to town, it's not known if this will be some kind of migration option or something that will just happen on the fly.
