In the picture above you can see the Japanese Layout for The Nintendo Channel, well the medallion like option is only a recent change to the channel that adds quite a fair bit to Wii games which we might see it in the future. As it stands some new retail games in Japan will now offer a code. This code is something which will allow you to unlock bonus content within the game it came with, which can be downloaded free from the Wii Shop Channel. It is not known whether this feature will come out anywhere else in the world or what games will utilize this feature but maybe the upcoming Wario Land: The Shake Dimension from Nintendo might be the first to utilize this feature.
