Ok guys heres the scoop from US press conference!!
Wii will go on sale on
November 19th in USA.
It will be priced at USD 249.99
It will contain the same pack in as the japanese console
It will come with Wii sports which has:
- Wii Tennis
- Wii Bowling
- Wii Golf
- Wii Boxing
- Wii Baseball
30 launch window titles confirmed for wii. Around half are
launch day titles like Zelda and eXcitetruck.
Wii's navigation works via 'channels'. for example there's the internet channel, the news channel, the game channel, Shop channel (virtual console), photo channel (you can insert your sd cards and upload photos and edit them).
Wii messageboard is a service via which you can leave messages on people's mobiles or to their pc's.
Around 30 VC games set for launch date. Games downloaded from VC will cost $5 for NES, $8 for SNES and $10 for n64. VC launch titles will include The legend of zelda, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64 and Donkey Kong. Games downloaded from VC are stored internally as a channel and are available for use
indefinately.
Metroid prime will be a 2007 title.
Wiimote will cost $39.99 and nunchuck is $19.99.
Wii connects via wired or wifi internet connection.
Third party titles can cost more than $49.99. First party titles will be a maximum of $49.99. Wii first party titles will all be widescreen.
Wii's first online game will be pokemon battle revolution. It will be online in Japan at launch and shortly after launch in US.
