- Quicksolder (no wires required)
- Plays Wii Backups
- Plays GC Backups
- Play GC Homebrew
- Play GC Imports (swap needed)
- Built-in Audiofix (GC games using streaming are working flawlessly, no patch needed)
- DVD-R / DVD+R support
- Optional chip disable wire
- Stealth even when chip is enabled
- Multi-purpose LED

The chip is supposed to be shipped by the end of the week, so in fact this may be the first "real" Modchip to reach the market! "

The PS2 was popular because it was the follow up to the most popular console of the previous generation and had a gigantic library of games. Xbox is leaps and bounds ahead of PS2 in terms of piracy (storing games on the HDD, homebrew and ROMs etc), and they didnt sell anywhere near as well as the PS2 did.

If you think piracy = console sales, youre mistaken.

But Nintendo? No way. I believe most Nintendo fans would be loyal enough to buy the official games, i know i will be. When i buy an official Nintendo game i don't mind paying $99, i know the work, effort, time and quality that goes into them, wish i could say the same for some of the PS2 offerings years ago. That's not to say every Wii game is going to be great, but i can assure you Nintendo ones WILL be and worth every penny, and besides you get the nice colored manuals, unlike *cough* PS.

But i guess everyone has their own opinions, but i'm not going to mod my Wii.

When I was younger I used to have modchipped PS1 (no hard feelings anyone..), but maybe you can blaim that I got older - I understood that it's far more wiser not to use modchips and just support the company (Alltrought those multinational corporates do use their evil schemes and psychedelic powers to milk us dry of money..)

It means you can use DVD-R or +R to burn your games onto. Nothing to do with movies :<

As for me, ill wait till a homebrew chip comes out.
