Pretty sure I can't edit a news item and if I can I don't know how...anyone care to explain?!
Honestly, of course every death is a tragedy but if we can never focus on the lighter side of life then we'll all be awfully depressed since about 133,284,000 die every single day.
The blatant carelessness of the radio station was what I thought was highlighted and since this was originally sourced from a blog, then trackedback to the SMH article I thought it only fitting to paste the entire article as I originally found it...outro and all.
I agree, anyone who has a hearty laugh at this needs their head examined, but anyone who can't appreciate the absurdity of the situation needs to seriously lighten up in my humble opinion (assuming no one knew her personally, that is, of course, a different kettle of fish)!
Article can be removed if it is deemed inappropriate, I feel the byline gives plenty of warning. If I end up passing in a less than sombre way I hereby give permission for anyone and everyone to have a little absurd thought at my expense!
Sorry if anyone was offended but, without getting into some sort of philosophical and psychological debates for my reasons...lighten up!
