Over at the Ubisoft tent I got some hands on, or should I say feet on with Shaun White's Snowboarding for the Nintendo Wii. Using the Wii Balance Board and the remote, within ten minutes I was carving up the slopes like a pro, and feeling right at home with the controls.

So basically you stand on the board like you would a real snow board, leaning forward will make you faster, lean back to slow it down, and side to side to control the steering. It feels right at home and natural, and offers something that the 360 version doesn't.

Lift your front foot to perform a jump, and a combination of weight shifting and button mashing to pull of a multitude of tricks and stunts for points. After a few goes the controls were natural and I was really getting into it.

As expected the Wii version wasn't as pretty as the Xbox version, but for a Wii game it was pretty damn decent. If you already have a balance board and are looking for something to do with it that is more than check your weight, then I'd highly recommend Shaun White's Snowboarding.
