Well at least i'll have time to catch up on other addictive games. Just got to remember to have a friend with a hammer nearby so i'm able to put the controller down. (hammer + fingers = controller put down pretty quickly...)

I'm willing to give some more VC-games a go (such as the Metroid series) but I'm not a console-kid from way back so I can't say that many of the VC titles have inspired me to part with any great amount cash to date.

Consequently, I'm waiting for the third-party releases of downloadable Wii software now.

I just got issue 167 of Hyper>> and I see that Xbox Live has available the Prince of Persia Classic (i.e. original platformer) with a graphics makeover (as is available in Impossible Mission) and a couple of popular non-Monopoly board-game conversions (Carcassone and Settlers of Catan) all at 800 Xbox points (Au$13.33, Wii Points(AU)888 ).

If the Wii had a Live-like channel, my druthers would be opting for PoP Classic - even at 1000 Wii Points.

Thanks for the update Zoidberg - may you have at least one person turn up to your next birthday party besides you! Whoo-Whoo-Whoo!
