I saw Target's catalogue last night and their intro price is $73.95.

Ive heard a lot of the minigames were obviously designed for the GC and ported over. One of the most disappointing examples i heard was a luigis mansion style mini game where u use the wiimote to control the vacum cleaner or something but all the wii mote does is control up/down, and u use the analogue control to control where its pointing.

reviews have also been bashing it for lack of originality.

i would be interested to hear opinions of people that have played it though, was really keen to get it before i read some reviews.

Mario Party feels old now. I mean it's the 8th game now and I can't see any major improvement in each sequel compared to the previous game. On the other hand you can look @ the WarioWare series, which is based on a similar concept (minigames etc.), and you can see what the Mario Party series could've been had they gone down a different path.

iv heard so much negative feedbak 4 mp8 but i actually didnt mind it. i thought it was pretty good, different boards actually have different objectives. those that are not habitual wii players will be able to get more involved in mini games.

Yeah i was gonna get it for $69 at JB Hi-Fi but then went for a stroll up to EB games where they also had G1 Jockey , JB didnt have G1 Jockey but i still managed to get EB to price match both games at JB's price, G1 Jockey was $72 on JB's website.

I was surprised they didnt even ring JB to check if they had the game & what price. At first the guy said its $79 at JB but agreed on $72 when i said its on their website as $72.
