And you know what else is scary? That backstop he was using? Any bullet — even a .22 Long Rifle — could go through that like paper and have enough force to badly injure, and most probably kill anyone who catches it. That's why the backstop didn't kick back from the force of the bullet — the bullet just punched through it.
