To put things into perspective: Where I work, they are getting approx 450 Wii consoles and about 300 or so copies of Zelda on the 4th of December at the distribution warehouse. These will be distributed to over 120 stores nationwide.

I think there will be some Wii consoles available to those who didn't pre-order, but they may be snapped up rather quickly.

I usually says how long they'll hold it for on the pre-order form. For example, those of us who ordered at a Myers store will have to pick it up within 7 days before it'll just get sold on the shelves as general stock.

ps2 sold out just after its release. There will be shelf stock for the wii but it just depends on how many people are willing to buy it as christmas presents really as to how long it will take before it sells out ....
