Wii Software \ We Need Demo Discs

As the title suggests I'm disappointed that we don't have a magazine for Wii that includes a demo disc like the good old PS/PS2 mags.

It would be great to get a playable level or some videos of what's coming, I don't think its too much to ask when spending $100 on a game that turns out to suck (seeing most places don't have many to rent yet)

Does anyone agree we should have them?

In terms of space, when looking at xbox 360 they range from 400mb to like 1gb. But don't forget alot of that is high res textures and great audio quality - something Wii doesn't have. They could just allow hard drives or even flash cards costs on them are always dropping.

We want demos for VC games as well and they'll take up nothing. It doesn't matter how much space you have you will always fill it. Ask some 360 owners (like me) how quick it's 13gb hard drive fills up (yes it really isn't 20gb). Not only this, download caps come into it to.

I wouldn't complain when my Wii memory runs out because I'm a smart person who knows that constantly downloading demos will fill the memory...no complaining, just friggin common sense . It's about choice.

Surely they could make a channel just for trailers. You wouldn't even have to download them. It could be just an internet page, something like the news channel.

As for downloading demos, you could always delete them off your system when you're done with them. If they were free you could keep deleting and downloading them as long as you wanted!

Nah not for a demo they wouldn't make you use points as the purpose of a demo is to give people a taste of what the games like to see if they like it.

If anything there will be a trailers channel with offical trailers and gameplay movies from Nintendo themselves.

If demos were to come out you would expect it the same time as when the option to allow the Wii to read hard drives.

And what about all that space for your VC Games, you really expect me to delete all them or transfer them to a SD Card and then transfer them back when I want to play them which means I will have to delete my Demo/s that I have installed.

Stupid idea and doesn't take in any consideration to the consumer, and goes away from what Nintendo is all about....Simplicity.
