Get Vista if you want to play PC games that need DirectX 10, otherwise stay with XP.

I got a Mac because of RC-1 lol.

Are you using composite desktop with Ubuntu? Edgy Eft?

I have the 'Final' of Vista Ultimate.
It's good, but I wouldn't pay that much for a Retail version

I got Vista for a measly payment of around 2.5gb and an hour or two. If you know what I mean. >:3

It boots up really quickly since there's no fancy bootloading screen like XP. The effects are pretty, and things run alright, although I think it's a bit slower on my computer than XP.
