Hmm, I might buy it...

Can't decide, I mean I'm battling between 2

a) 500gb SATA internal 3.5"
b) 160gb USB external 2.5"

I could probably fit my entire backup of PC on that external, it may be slow but mobility is always worth the money.

I would get it, however I already have an empty 80gb HP 2.5" HDD I got from a HP promotion. Haven't used it yet. But I want an external 500gb (at least) 3.5" HDD for storing all my media on. I currently only have 160gb and it's full

If you use my links, you have en external HDD at the same speed as an internal one. Which is what you wanted right?

It comes with an eSATA bracket and eSATA cable. It can go upto 3Gb/s, depending on ya HDD...
