And it would be unlikely for the Macbook Pro to get an update.... Have a look around.... the Macbook is still in its plastic form, and not aluminum. So its far more likely for the Macbook to receive that upgrade (if any), than the MBP.

Macrumors will have IRC, Text and web updates, though. And if you've got a an iPod Touch or 1st Gen iPhone, you can check their site live from your bed :o

anywho if the next one is snow leopard then i wonnder wha the last 3 would be... sofar we have had:

10.0-cheetah

The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW) claim Apple will release The Beta Version of OS X 10.6 (Leopard) next week. It reports the update is not dramatic in regards to new features, but adds updates will center "strictly on stability and security."

TUAW added a public version of the update will be available in January 2009 to coincide with the annual MacWorld Expo. The most recent Mac OS X is 10.5.3.
