Water Intoxication is actually quite a real cause of death. Actually in around the turn of the century (the 2000 one it just sounded cooler) there were approximately 200-300 deaths in the US alone, largely attributed to the use of ecstasy (MDMA) and consumption of excess water, it triggers.

I’d believe it. Some people just really want a Wii, hey I didn’t ring Myers every day for the last 3 weeks for nothing.

Was it all the bladder pressure that killed her or what? Plus, I know that the Wii is awesome and all, but I don't know anyone who wanted it that much, even I didn't want one. I got lucky at a store some day earlier this year. They only had 2 left, so I got one, and so did my cousin.

Drinking regular tap water causes a fluid shift in your body as it throws all your electrolytes off by diluting your body fluids.

I'd suspect that she had a massive shift of fluids and it either caused a form of encephalitis (brain swelling) causing death or fibrillation of the heart (the heart stops beating properly and just flutters) killing her.

All for a US$200 machine, I bet her kids are thrilled ....



I'd say Darwinism at it's best but she already contributed to the gene pool.

Edit: I looked at the follow up YouTube video posted and her last words were "My head hurts", so there you go, encephalitis.

Well I mean at leats thats not as bad as WOW I hate it and it has taken over 100 lives the wii has only taken 1 thats the first as far as i heard but still she must have been crazy with all do respect to her family but I mean I mean people rush and push to get a wii but but people dieing for a wii literally dieing for a wii wierd.

Can you post a link to the article/s with those numbers? I've heard of a couple of idiots living on caffeine drinks and peeing in bottles whilst playing it for days then dropping dead.

I'd like to know where you got the over 100 people dead cos of WOW (or similar games, I suppose). I find this very interesting.

They just non-stop play WoW. It's so...stupid. It's just a computer game, you're not really gonna gain anything! It's the parent's fault anyway. Actually allowing their kid to play that long. It's just.. wrong.
