Yes, this game was a start of the SSB series, which gamers everywhere now love and adore, even though the graphics aren't good in this century and there's limited characters, I still play this game today.
The Controls a simple, shield, grab, smash attack, jump, all the buttons and moves to make a cool fighting yet subtle game in your control.
And in the added levels (target, platforms) are easily understood, but the controls may seem difficult at first, but the game provides instructions and the beginning, so you don't have to read instructions (YAY!) All the characters moves, and the way they use items, are all simple to control.
Rating: 9/10
Sounds in the game are in order and on time, no lags for me!
you can hear Pikachu's 'voice' and Ness' PK attacks, and when selecting characters and menus they speak the names clearly and slow enough.
You can hear when items are used, characters are being 'smashed' and when targets are being broken in target smash.
Rating: 8/10
Awesome Gameplay! Being different people and modes makes this game have a little more 'oomph' in it. You can see data records and details about all characters. There is always different enemies and difficulties to choose from so you won't be bored quick! And with 12 characters in all, who could?!

The Replay is always good. You can try stages with different characters, different challenges with different characters and you can check your data records to see which character has more KO's than the other! I really think that little thing made this game one bit better.
You can choose different types of battles, teams, 3 one 1, timed battles, stock battles, and those there will keep you entertained for weeks.

Graphics.... the graphics are still good, you can tell what characters are doing without having to look closely at your TV.
The characters are in good detail and so are the stages, attacks, their after effects, and items are detailed. So the graphics are good, but would look better if graphics didn't progress through the years.

So there's my review, Super Smash Bros. is what started it all, it made the crappy Nintendo characters bask in the limelight for as long as this game lasts, this is one of Nintendo's true masterpieces.
