Mario Kart Wii - A MUST HAVE - 9/10

Mario Kart Wii is a great game for many reasons. In this review many areas of the game will be judged and reviewed; highlighting strengths and weaknesses.
Mario Kart, is a the BEST racing game ever introduced to any of the Nintendo consoles. It has been around since the SNES and its gameplay function has remained much the same allowing gamers to enjoy it to its fullest. It is one of the easiest games to pick up and play on the Wii thanks to a new controller designed by Nintendo - The Wii Wheel
More retro gamers can use the classic controller, whilst most game cube fanatics can utilize the the GCN controller. However for the orthodox Wi gamer the wimote.nunchuk combo is gold, its easy to perform tricks and control the racer

The other main area of dominance in this game is its online play
In online play there is zero LAG making it incredible fun to play with mates and stragers around the world. There is also a point system which ranks you in the racing standards so challenger know what to expect of you

Thanks to the Mari oKart Channel there is a new feature not avaliable on any other game - that being competitions. The competitions are funa nd easy and addictive


I can honestly say Mario Kart Wii is my favorite game on the Wii. This is because of is replay value.

gameplay - 10/10
Mario kart dominates in this area thanks to its control scheme. Now there are 4 types of controller so that every gamer can be satisfied with this game.
The Wii Wheel, Wiimote/Nunchuk, GCN Controller and the Classic Controller

graphics - 7/10
Mario Kart lacks in this department, especially when compared to Brawl. It has the graphics of a middle range game cube game, yet it still looks fluid and beautiful

sound - 7/10
it has some delightful tune to accompany you whilst driving but some grunts, screams and chants become annoying and tedious over time

value - 10/10
It has amazing replay value thanks to its online gameplay
unlike brawl, there is ZERO lag in mario kart wii

overall rating. 9/10

All in all the game is one of the best developed for the wi. even thoguh it doesnt use much of the wii motion sensing it is still incredible fun
there are many ways this game can be fixed o that its sequel is the best game ever.
