King of Fighters '94 - 9/10

Story:
Rugal Bernstein is an incredibly rich and notorious arms and drugs trafficker, as well as an incredibly skilled and ruthless fighter. Having become bored with the lack of competition, Rugal decides to host a new King of Fighters tournament.

Gameplay:
King of Fighters '94 has a unique fighting style of game play to it made better with the 3 on 3 battles. Each character has a different fighting style and there are quite a number of fighters to choose from to be on your team. I would have to say out of every fighting game King of Fighters '94 would have been the best one I have played, better than Street Fighter, which can be seen from the many sequels it has spawned off making the game better with more characters but still sticking to the fighting style and only changing slightly.

Graphics:
The Graphics are really good for that time and are similar to most other fighting games that were made around that time like Street Fighter, World Heroes, Fatal Fury and etc. The graphics are one reason I enjoyed the game and were good enough to be used in all the sequels except the 3D ones.

Sound:
Not much to say with sound with some background music that isn't annoying and the sounds the fighters make when fighting and the usual comment they make before and after the fight.

Replay Value:
I never could beat the final guy in his last stage which made me play the game for so long, 4-5 hours on some days as it was just a good fighting game and contained a lot of replay value.

Conclusion:
In Conclusion King of Fighters '94 isa a great unique fighting game of it's time spawning many sequels which it has caused me to download for me Neo Geo emulator due to them not on Virtual Console and is probably the 2nd best series that was released for the Neo Geo, 2nd to Metal Slug. It is the only good Neo-Geo Game out right now on Virtual Console that is worth getting.
