The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - 10/10

First of all, this is my first review, so go easy on me. I grew up with this game since I was 5 (I'm 15 in June) so I've been playing this game for about 10 years and I still love it!

Summary:

In the game, you play as Link. The game is set in the land of Hyrule. Link sets out on a quest to stop Ganondorf, King of the Gerudo, from obtaining the Triforce, an omnipotent sacred relic. Link travels back and forth in time to prevent Ganondorf from obtaining the Triforce and gaining control of Hyrule.


Plot: 10/10



I think that the plot is both creative and entertaining. It's a magical storyline with a few secrets and surprises along the way. I think it's one of the most clever and innovative plots I have come across, and it really does this game justice!

Gameplay: 9/10



The gameplay is excellent for both its time and for todays! The interface is player-friendly and easy to use, the weapons are innovative and have a creative way of using them, the fighting is AMAZING, there are heaps of extremely interactive and mind-blowing puzzles, and is altogether damn fantastic! Definitely one of the best features of the game!


Graphics: 8/10



I think that, especially for its time, the graphics were incredible! Maybe not up to today's standard, but definately incredible! Sure, some of the animations were a bit too 2-D, but especially the temples and characters (especially Ganondorf!) were awesome!


Sound/Music: 10/10



The sound and music were another best part about the game! The sounds were realistic and all over the place (in a way that just about everything had a sound.) The music was beautifully composed and just matches the mood of the game so well! Amazing!


Replay: 7/10



Well, once you finish the game completely, you'll probably be put off playing again for quite a while. But wait 3 months, and you'll want to play it again! Once you play it about 3 times, it gets a bit boring, and you don't want to play it for quite a while. I wait maybe half a year before I start to play again, only because I get sick of every game I get pretty quickly (except for SSB N64.)

Overall: 10/10



One of the best games of all time in my opinion. YMMV though. Yes, may be a bit older looking, but I still think that it definately deserves the title of "One Of The Best Games Of All Time!" Definately a Must-Get on the VC Console. I still got it on N64 though!
