resident evil UC - 8/10

story8/10


I found the story quite good considering I knew most of it already but reading all the files I found was a bit tedious they did make the story more enjoyable.
The little movie sequences were good first time around and were easy to skip through once seen (not like some games)
My favorite story line being the jill valentine one which was a short version of the second movie in a way



sound8/10
The sound was quite good it built up tension when it needed it and gave a few jumpy bits when required the gunshots and knife sounds were good ,but being ive never heard a fully automatic pistol fire 100 shots I cant really compare



graphics7/10
Graphics on this were as to be expected for wii nothing spectacular but very acceptable with the surroundings and background looking good and zombie blood splatter just ok.
The zombies and other enemies did look good and as im into game play more than graphics were quite adequate for my needs.



controls9/10
I only used the wiimote by itself not with nunchuck or the wii crapper (oops zapper).
the targeting of getting a critical hit (head shot) was quite good the use of the wiimote to shake off a zombie attacker and reload good.



gameplay9/10
I found the game play quite enjoyable and addictive .
The fact you can shoot many objects in the background such as lights boxes cars, windows to find files was good fun.

I found 2 player modes much easier and good fun to play as well.
But read on mywii someone using 2 wiimotes lara croft style and thought that was a great idea (pity im a gimp and cant do it)

All in all im very happy with this installment of resident evil and give it a score of 8.2/10
