To start off with i don't like the camera angle during gameplay of this game. i grew up playing soccer games viewing from the side not from behind the goals. at this stage im not sure if its good or not may take a while to get used to. Luckily during gameplay you can change the camera to a range of different angles. Freeplay is the default view but you can also choose sideline, commentary box, and a few others. You can also adjust how close the camera is to the action as well. Im very glad these options are available because i would have been very annoyed if i couldn't play FIFA from the sideline. CONTROLS This aspect of the game is going to take a while for most wii users to master. There are two options for the controls. Advanced and family. i hae only used advanced controls at this stage but from reading in the instruction manual the family controls seem to be fairly easy to use. The amount of moves there is to remember is kinda daunting and they can be quite difficult to pull off. GRAPHICS I don't usually expect much graphics wise in wii games so this game is pretty much the same as any oter wii game. while playing though it does seem to be clunky and slow. probably just me and my hopeless skills with wii soccer. The menus are polished and well presented as you would expect from any EA sports game. GAMEPLAY Well there are that many teams and tournaments in this game its kinda ridiculous. It will take a while to get through them all. One good feature for all the Aussie gamers is the inclusion of the A-League. When i first got the game i played a game with Melbourne Victory. Its good to have kind of "local" feel to the game. SOUND This aspect of the game is bloody awesome. probably the most liflike part of the game. plsying it through a surround sound system would be excellent. when you kick the ball it sounds just like the real thing as if your only a couple of metres away from the action. Also the sound of the crowd is fantastic. very realistic. Probablt teh only downside is the commetary. kinda repeatitive but you get that with soccer games. It isn't to bad but every so often you will hear a phrase that you can remember being used when you played the game the day before. FOOTII PARTY This is a typical wii party game and is really fun. great for having friends over when your sick of playing a serious soccer game. Ronaldinho is featured as a Mii charector. there are three modes. Boot it, Table football and juggling. All are very good. Its great to have mates over and play these minigames. ONLINE Havn't had a chance to play the online mode yet. More to the point I'm not that confident with playing online right at this very moment. But to play you must register with EA. Interactive leagues is a very good idea and is perfect for any soccer fanatic. i'd love to see this feature incorparated into an AFL game. You play as a club and play the exact games the real life club is fixtured to play. your results are combined with every other users results to determine where your team will be on the ladder. Its a very good original idea. overall this game is very good. It will keep you entertained for a while if your one of those gamers that has to get everything out of the game because there is plenty of unlockables available in this game. I wouldn't pay full price for this game but the introductry offers of aroun $85 are quiter resonable.
