Review for HD TV: This is a must have. If you have an LCD or Plasma TV, the wii looks like a pile of vomit displayed through the included composite cord. The colour is off and isn't sharp. Simply plug this cable in, and select ED/HD in your wii menu and you will immediately notice a difference. Progressive scan means edges are much smoother as the picture refreshes twice as fast as normal. The bad thing is that some Virtual Console games do not display through component cable on some LCD TVs (mine included) Review for SD TV: Not as noticeable of a difference. If you have a cheap 54cm TV, I wouldn't recommend it, since the difference is very minor and small text us blurry anyway. On a larger TV, the progressive scan will make more of a difference. Don't buy the Nintendo brand one! It's a ripoff!! The cheaper ones do the exact same job!
