phatbass82 don't use the updater because if you have third party software sources (eg wine, mediaubuntu) it causes problems dont really know why, had the same issue when upgrading to ubuntu 7.10. if you want a real powerful distro get gentoo really hard to set up but once its running

Yes I used the updater, but as spoonie said it caused a few problems with wine, I'm trying to fix them though, should be a remove and reinstall.

It's a totally revolutionary new way of organising your files without having to dump them all onto your desktop
