I don't think so. Does anybody really intend to watch their desktop like that, when they could just watch WMP/iTunes or an actual video? Either that, or the screen is full of windows that covers the desktop. Just a waste of CPU/RAM/VRAM

umm eh no it doesnt use up hardly any resources PWNED! get same frame rates when playing crysis etc. It turnt itself off when playing games, there are some quite beautiful dreamscenes but obviously your a mac lova so u dont deserve em ne ways

Either way, theres no point in it. I barely ever see mine cos of all the windows i have up anyway. Why watch dreamscenes when you can watch a movie? Or if you really want to be mesmerized, use iTunes/WMP

yeah, i know he's using ubuntu. i have it too, but not installed XD I might get dad to get a cheapie from work for me try it out. He won't let me use it on the Mac. Even the disk-boot trial thingo =[
