i'm so pissed! today my wii ran out of memory! really! i opened two wii-mails i got & on returning to the main menu a window open, "message board memory is approaching maximum. do you want to move old records to your sd card?" i clicked yes. an hour later it's still copying! i had no choice but to leave it running & go to work! got back & copy complete! now the first half of my wii-mail has a little sd card pic on top centre (like with attached pics). but even worse, i also have to move my vc games to sd card coz i can't fit anymore on my wii. even though i've only used half the channels! i downloaded wave race today after moving vc games to sd card. i'll have to do it from now on! & half my main menu pages are empty! i was only 4 games into page three! so kids it looks like the wii max's out at about 18-19 vc games..... not happy jan!

the problem with VC games is that each one contains a copy of the emulator program. so if you download 10 VC games, you also have 10 copies of the same emulator!

they better do something soon because once WiiWare and Neo-Geo content become available, there won't be any space left to put them on. they can't expect us to keep swapping sd cards forever.

Are you sure it's not just your message board that's full? How many blocks are left on your Wii's system memory? Can you not download anything new because it's full?

If the Wii's memory is maxing out this early, they will have to do something about it. Having to use SD cards all the time is not only a hassle but more expensive. (just because I wanted to use one of the new ones, hehe)

Check the save for your Internet Channel. Mine seems pretty big, I guess from my favorited URLs.
