News \ SSBB with Nintendo Wi-Fi?

EB Games has added the Wi-Fi logo on the SSBB shelf boxart. We know this does not confirm anything but you have to wonder where EBgames.com got the box art from? In my opinion I think the game will definitely launch with Nintendo WFC and WiiConnect24….that boxart isn’t half-bad either!

This is a direct quote from an article that involved an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto himself:

"Even better, the game will be fully online playable in addition to featuring a robust multiplayer mode. "My plan is to include Wi-Fi connection compatibility and online functionality. One of the primary reasons Super Smash Bros. Brawl was created was that Nintendo, when taking Wii online, wanted to have Smash Bros. to do that," added Sakurai."

I don't know how so many people are obsessed with this game, all it is is button mashing, bash the crap out of some characters with no real point....

It isn't button mashing if you play smart, it actually invlves fast reflexes and strategy. you could also say the same thing about strikers, it's soccer with no point, but it isn't, it's a fun game, it's the same thing with smash bros.

people think about it logically: What possible reason would prevent nintendo from integrating wi-fi support? Certainly not time issues (they've been working on it for ages) and the cost of set up is easily handled by the massively increased sales. And fortunately for us nintendo don't have the habit of shafting PAL regions on anything except release dates. So no worries people
