From the current generation, I only own a 360, but will be getting my very own Wii in the near future
As for other generations, these are consoles that are still in the family but weren't necessarily mine:
- 2 Game and Watch games (no idea which ones though, haven't opened them in years)
- Original Gameboy, the Gameboy Pocket and the GBC
- NES
- N64
- PS1 (PSX)
- PS2
- X360
- DS Lite
- (Hopefully soon) Wii

Geez, looking at the consoles other people still have with them, I wonder how they manage with storage when I can barely fit what I have in the house.

I barely manage. My collection probably needs at least one week to sort out. It's a mess. Eventually when I get enough room I will be able to setup everything better and have everything sorted!

Ive pretty much got all most recent consoles sitting rite next to me like for example; Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 but alot of the others are stored away, but when i feel a need to play some retro games I just setup and away i go! But I would really like to have them up on display all together but its a bit much to set them up together.. since most are like 10 years or older... man that really shows my age. lol

I realy imbarrised my visiting cousin earlier in the year, shes always on her DS. We where going into the city by train, she pulled out her DS and was playing it, I pulled my 1978 Blip out of my backpack and started playing it.

Yeah Phatbass it was your collection which shocked me the most, did you always have the non-aus ones or did you recently buy them? (because if you've always had them, they must be worth heaps these days)

I was thinking, having them shelved on display would be awesome, but imagine if you hooked all of them up to TV's, like a massive gaming room, that'd be intense!

I've had the NTSC consoles for a few years. Regardless of whether I've had them new or not, they are still worth a lot of money. www.mycrowd.com.au/ - goto to the photo section to see a couple of my imports.

I don't know man. A lot of Japanese sellers on ebay want a whole lot of money for their Famicom systems.

But they are coming up more often, I think they know where the market is. Still I think Retro video games are a good investment.

Definately. The market is getting greater and greater. I remember when I was younger, hardly anybody would be in EB games. Now adays, everyone is in there. I think prices for retro gaming will continue to go up in value. I've decided I will hang on to my collection for as long as possible. I just can't wait to pull it all out and sort them out. I'm going to one day have every single system hooked up to the one TV. That will be interesting.

Don't forget orange Box,

That pack is such good value and if you haven't played half-life before it is a definite must.

Not to mention Portal.

It's the same stuff after another. The only thing that interests me is that it takes place in New York.
