People would want to touch and grab and play. Man, if you could have it set up arcade style you'd make heaps from private parties and the like, but then your precious consoles would become overused. Still, I'd be paying money to just see them all, especially in a few years time.

Well, I did think of having a retro arcade, but then I thought about how all the controllers would get trashed. Then I thought about having people pay a huge deposit before they played, to cover them breaking it. Then I thought, hmm, maybe over 18's only. Maybe just a plain museum is safer...

Paddington: I know, I can't bring myself around to sell them. I was even tempted to trade someone a few doubles I had of consoles and games for a new 80gb iPod, but I couldn't bring myself around.

You have possibily thought of this but I had a table top arcade machine that I sold to guy in Wynnum years ago. I found him in the Yellow pages under repairs I think. Might be worth a look they may have an old housing you can modify.

Thanks guys. It's actually not my house. I still live with my Dad. I'm moving out soon anyway so I'll have a much better set up, instead of cramming it all into my own room!

I remember when I was in grade 4, I was in charge of setting up the c64's at school every morning. So cool!
What was the command? "Load *." i can't remember now...


Zoidberg - Damn, I wish I had that "extra" gear you have with the N64 and SNES. I would love to just play around with it. Keep them, they are worth a lot of money!
