According to that link one of the Monster Cable's features is "Nitrogen gas-injected dielectric insulator maximizes video signal strength for the best possible picture." I have no idea what that means, lol.

I like monster cables, have my sub woofer and theater system hooked up with them, but bought them in Canada for 1/4 of the price they where here. They are realy good qualty, but for a wii (480p), I think a $16 component cable will be just as good.

I have the Monster component cables for the Xbox 360, and compared to the component cables in box, there was a very noticeable difference. I've ordered the Monster cables for the Wii, so I'll let you know how it goes.

BTW, I have a lot of electrical gear all around the same area and I get a lot of interference, so the extra shielding in the Monster cables is of real benefit. I can't say it will definately improve the picture quality in everyone's cases.
