Not many people realise that Mario Kart on Gamecube was 16 player support through LAN, but it was expensive because you need 4 Gamecubes, 4 Lan adapters, 4 Mario Kart games, and 16 controllers...

well if wii's have wifi, they should be able to invent some software or dongle that lets them lan wirelessly....
and let it so that if 1 person has the disc of a game, then they must be the host, and everyone else can play in that persons game

Lanning is one of the main reasons why Halo 2 was so popular and why i loved it so much, other than that the normal gameplay on it was rubbish.

Regarding the wii-mote syncing to the wrong console. Ive done 360 Lanning, and the controllers dont have a problem syncing.. just do them one at a time.

The Internet thing sounds like a good idea, just hope the bandwidth connection can handle 2 Wii's at the same time.
