Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam Description:

A different take on the Tony Hawk line of video games, Downhill Jam is a racing title with a twist; gamers must guide their player down famous hilly locations throughout the world while also performing tricks on their skateboards. The title uses the innovative Wii controller in a fashion as to appeal a wider audience.

got this on the day i bought my wii and apart from sports it is the most played game we have.
single player is fast to get through and unlock everything, but you can go for golds on every level and flesh it out a bit if you prefer, and once everythings unlocked get a few friends around for a tony hawk downhill party jam.
It is great fun to sneak up behind friends and knock them off their boards when they think they are about to win lol

definate must have for fans of fast paced racing or tony hawk games in general in my opinion

Wrong. I've played and finished every single other Tony Hawk game ever made and this one is by far the most fun. I have put more time into this game than any other Wii game easily and it look amazing on my 52" screen in 480p. I love every second of this game and i will play it until i have finished it 100% with everyone.

While i respect your opinion, i find it hard to believe. I have played this game more than all my other Wii games combined by far...and i've got 6 Wii games (sports and wiiplay count as 1 game each) It's just so addictive, getting massive scores and finding all the shortcuts in the game is great. Even after the hundreds of hours i have put into this game, i still don't know every shortcut and some i have no idea how to reach. The whole game is A+ in my opinion and is a must-buy. It's just so damn fun when you know how to control it well. I used to think the game sucked, back when i sucked at the game cause i couldnt get used to the controls.

Another thing is that this game only has one pro in it. "Stupid". Last thing is, is that the creativity level stinks. I think a baby could of mad up this game in their sleep.

- customise your skater and make him resemble and dress like you
- frantic high speed and engaging game play
- light hearted / humourous presentation with stylised graphics
- multiplayer works well, plus ghost mode to see your previous run
- tonnes of fun and satisfaction and haven't got sick of it yet.

I have played and finished Project 8 on 360 and loved every minute of it. With this experiance in mind, and having finished every other tony hawk except DS ones, i went into this game and hated the controls but once i got used to them i can say easily this is the best tony hawk ever!. Project 8 was boring, it felt like american wasteland too much, the only cool addition was the slow motion where you control the board, meh. Good game, Downhill Jam is better. It is just a long and is way way more fun!

i have this game and its pretty good. its like ssx. the graphics aren't great and the videos are a little pixelated, but you can forgive the rush job due to... well it being a little rushed to meet launch period.

i give it a 7.5/10.

Firstly, I do appreciate your opinion, but being a skater myself, this game relates to the actual style of skating. It isn''t all glamour and whatnot as you may think. It captures the realism of the environments that some skaters are forced to skate in, but of course, doesn’t skimp back on the whole ''rebel against authority'' sort of issue opening up areas that you''d most likely get pinned for skating in reality. So don’t discourage people from getting into the game because you find it ‘ugly,’ true skaters find this a more appealing Tony Hawks game for it is symbolic in a sense that it captures the realism of skaters in today’s modern world.
